Taylor and Stephenson Win Summary Judgment

Madison Taylor and Bobby Stephenson won summary judgment on behalf of a franchisor in an automobile negligence case. The plaintiff was involved in an automobile accident with an employee of a franchisee and the plaintiff sought to hold the franchisor liable for her damages. Taylor and Stephenson successfully argued in a motion for summary judgment that discovery yielded no evidence to support any claim under a franchisor theory or agency theory. The circuit court granted summary judgment and dismissed the claims against the client with prejudice.
