Doty to Speak at Litigation Management Conference

       Sandy Doty has been selected to speak at the 2011 Annual Conference of the Council on Litigation Management (CLM). Ms. Doty is slated to speak on the topic "Never Say Never." Never say Never roundtable will illustrate how to defend a fact scenario that the Plaintiff will argue "never should have occurred."  This roundtable will be geared towards those attendees with experience in defending hospitals, long term care facilities, and those who defend catastrophic injury care, terminally ill, or end of life care claims. 

       The conference will be one of the largest, fully inclusive defense industry conferences in 2011. It will be held March 23-25 in New Orleans, will feature approximately 250 speakers and is expected to draw attendees from around the world.  

       Ms. Doty is licensed to practice both in Mississippi and Tennessee, with her primary office located in Jackson, Mississippi. After obtaining her undergraduate degree following attendance at the College of Southern Idaho and Northeast Louisiana University, she received her J.D. from the Mississippi College School of Law in 1997. Ms. Doty has extensive experience in the field of insurance defense as both coverage and litigation counsel, including medical malpractice and long term care cases, as well as general and commercial liability. Over the past five years, her practice has transitioned to also include a large workers compensation defense practice.
